Walking
Walking is a powerful thing Sometimes its just what you need For me its very hard on my knees But, walking promotes healing These are my thoughts Cry when you walk Pray when you walk Breathe when you walk Talk to God while you walk Meditate while you walk You see with walking You have to put one foot in front of the other Stay in your lane Swing your arms while the stress fades away Do it at your own pace and take in the day Walking 30, 60, 90min a day For those of us who are unable to run Fast walk Make sure you lift those knees without a second thought Cry while you walk Pray while you walk Breathe while you walk Its an exercise where there is no need to talk No need to count reps Or think your doing it wrong Today, I will pray for you while I walk Cause today, I have to cry on my walk Meditate on my walk Pray on my walk Talk to God on my walk My walk will be my healing While my heart is breaking apart Just get out and walk #30for30 #isupportpoets #walkingforhealing #demgirlsmama
